Louise Glover (born 8 February 1983)
is an English model, beauty queen, and photographer. She is well known
from her work as a glamour model, with appearances in British lad mags,
including FHM, Bizarre, Maxim, Loaded, and tabloids such as the News of
the World, The Sun and The Daily Star. She is the first British model
to be named "Model of the Year" in Playboy Special Editions.
Glover grew up with a troubled childhood, with drug abusing parents, in
foster care, and eventually living alone from the age of 15. She
struggled to become a model from an early age. At the start of her
career, she was sentenced to community service for not reporting her
early earnings while receiving welfare. Glover has been a continued
participant in and supporter of the charity Raleigh International,
which she credits for contributing to her early motivation She is 1 m
67 (5ft 6in) tall and has a 32DD-23-34 figure. She is also a beauty
pagent contestant, twice winning Miss St. Helens and was the finalist
of the Miss Earth in and Miss Hawaiian Tropic contests.
Louise is best known for her glamour model work appearing on Page 3 of
British tabloids and in British lad mags as well and has appeared in
various programs on British TV. She has made a big impact in the
American Playboy Special Editions magazine appearing the magazine
regularly including the top 20 models for 2006 and the cover of Vixens
in February 2006. Louise is also a fitness instructor and a beauty
specialist. In August 2005,she was sentenced to 240 hours community
service after being found guilty of falsely claiming benefits by
magistrates in her hometown.
One of Louise's first main achievements in modeling happened at aged 19 when she went to the in south/east
Asia
as Miss Great in the Miss Earth finals. Soon after that, British media
interest in Louise increased ten-fold and she was signed-up by a top
London
model agency. Work offers began flooding in and it wasn't long before
Louise was starring on the front covers and insides of numerous men's
magazines and the 's biggest-selling tabloid newspapers including FHM,
Bizarre, Maxim, Loaded, News Of The World, Ice, The Sun and The Daily
Star. Even though her career was going well, at age 22, a fiercely
ambitious Louise decided that she wanted more! Not one to rest on her
laurels, she headed to L.A where she met with Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner
at the
Playboy
Mansion
and landed a test-shoot for Playboy Centerfold. Realising her
sex-appeal, star-quality and passion for being in front of a camera,
Playboy placed Louise on the front cover of Playboy Vixens magazine in
January 2006. Since then she's starred in the "Top 100 Sexiest Playboy
Models" 2006 pictorial special edition magazine and 16 other Playboy
magazines to date. Louise's outstanding work with Playboy has helped
increase worldwide interest and she's one of the few glamor models from
in recent years to have gained international media success. Aside from
her work for Playboy, In 2007, Louise was the winner of the highly
competitive Miss Hawaiian Tropic UK Beauty Pageant. From April-June
2008, Louise was one of the main stars in the British reality TV show,
Glamour Girls, which aired on channel BBC3. she is also the lead
actress in the music video She's So Lovely by British band, Scouting
For Girls. Other TV appearances include Secrets of the Sex Goddesses,
National IQ Test and Blaggers. |
